Wonderful apartment in a great district. The Marais streets exciting to explore. Having the metro right outside made is so much easier to and into the city without too much walking, but once in the city we walked for miles. Paris great for walking, the sights incredible. Hope to be back some day and stay in this apartment. Felt like home.

We loved this apartment, we felt like Parisians. The windows and the terrace were great. We followed recommendations and enjoyed the clown bar. Delicious meal and lovely owner.

Our stay in your lovely apartment has been most memorable. The apartment is so charming, comfortable, and clean. Everything worked beautifully and we felt very at home. Staying in this lovely neighborhood, shopping and cooking here, gave our family a real Parisian experience as opposed to a tourist experience.

Oh Paris! What a city! I was thrilled to share this European holiday with my children, they have been total troupers and amazing travelers. We are very lucky to have found this apartment as the perfect relaxing place to call home at the end of our days here.

What a wonderful week we have had in this extraordinary city and our perfect Paris apartment. From the moment Sabine greeted us, to our last evening listening to Vivaldi in Sainte Chapelle, this has been a very special holiday.

We can recommend Park Asterix for a truly French theme park. The children have also loved the French cartoon channels.

The apartment has been a perfect place to rest after our full days. We have almost felt like residents. Part of me would like more volcanic ash to descend and let us stay longer. I hope we will return.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Paris. We have loved this apartment and its location. Thank you to all of those who have come before us, we have benefitted from your helpful advise. Our additions: If you want to do a dinner cruise on the Seine, we recommend the Calique, lovely boat and beautiful food. Baci on Rue de Turenne is open all day, great food and very stylish. Wonderful chance to do people watching.

Fantastic time in Paris and loved having a ‘home’ to come back to after a days walking looking at this wonderful city. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Enjoy Place des Vosges.

The stay in Paris was certainly made more comfortable because of the location and amenities provided by the apartment! It is so convenient to walk out the door to a lively neighborhood with access to bakeries and food stores. Chocolate croissants and coffee each morning started each day. 5 days is too little to really experience Paris, is a city light and love- a beautiful place. I really want to return and experience more.

We had a wonderful week in Paris at the apartment. Three of us ran the Paris Marathon, which was an incredible experience. We celebrated our achievement with a dinner of steak frites, duck confit and giant salads with potatoes sauted in garlic, at the Relai du Gascom in Montmartres. Delicious

We had a great time and love this apartment. It helped us feel at home and was comfortable, especially after the marathon when we wanted to lounge around and rest. Thank you Sabine, Gregory and Ann!

We have really liked staying here! The apartment is very nice, we have not had any problems. We found a very good Italian restaurant, waiters and and pasta they make from scratch (La Gondola, 35 rue Oberkampf).

The Eiffel Tower had a huge line, but it moved fairly quickly and was well worth the wait.

We had a wonderful family reunion, mother daughter and granddaughter from the opposite side of Canada ! We spent a week exploring Paris and enjoying the pleasures of the #2bis. We highly recommend the boulangerie on Rue Saintonge just off Rue du Temple (1^st left at 1^st lights going towards Place de la Republique) – Au Graines de Ble. The restaurants we enjoyed very close to here were Au Cheminie on Rue JP Timbaud and the Tibetan restaurant on Rue du Temple, near the metro.

Thank you Gregory for all your patience while we checked out the apartment and Sabine when we arrived. We are happy to recommend it to all our friends.

Our stay in Paris was very short-only two nights unfortunately. It was made very enjoyable by having such a lovely place to rest each night. Fantastic location and comfortable surroundings make this a great place to stay!

Although we were only here a few days, apartment was warm and spacious and suited us extremely well. We have seen a lot of the major attractions, from this base and have been most impressed. Food outlets, pastry shop across the road absolute great. We will be back.

We had a great week in Paris. The apartment is in a great location, and it is easy to get around. Like others, we had a great meal at the Clown Bar. The owner was very nice. He translated the whole menu into English for us, and even gave us a whole bottle of wine on the house! Our favorite meal of all was the fondue place called the "Les fondues de la Raclette" (107 rue Parmentier). The apartment was plenty comfortable for 5 adults. Picard was Awesome! Shopi had everything you would need. Our favorite bakery was at the corner or rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud and Boulevard Voltaire. We like all the tourist attractions but we especially liked just exploring neighborhoods on foot. WE had a great time being together in Paris.

I write this after Christmas Dinner as the sun shines though over the wet and glistening Boulevard du Temple. Paris has been a fitting end to our family holiday in Europe. We dined in spectacular style on an entree of escargot and a main course of confit de canard and sour cherry sauce, roast potatoes and shallots and roast vegetables salad with balsamic dressing followed by a desert of figs and mascaporre. The ingredients for this feast came from the Marche d'Aligne. I highly recommend it is the living breathing heart of this city and cultural history.

Paris is a breathtakingly beautiful and this apartment is beautifully located. Our family of five has enjoyed our stay here. Picard was easy after a busy day. Christmas decorations down the Champs-Elysees with its Christmas markets, and locally were lovely. My husband and I went for an early morning walk each day discovering a different part of Paris each time, a great idea. We also found some of the covered corridors/arcades in the area, as well as the usual sights. So much more to see- we will have to return!

A wonderfully located apartment, especially with the metro so close and the cafe below! Thank you Sabine for being so gracious and helpful. Despite the weather we've had a great time and loved having the apartment to come home to between shopping, sight-seeing, and eating excursions!! Ate at l'ourcine in the Rue de Broca (13th), highly recommended but book (32 euro set meal). Also Chez Omar in rue Bretagne-great couscous- no booking but efficient queuing.

Paris was wonderful! Ate too much wine and cheese! Was handy having metro on doorstep. Marais is a beautiful area, plenty to see and do. Try Robert e Louise for dinner, it was excellent.

This was my first visit to Paris and I must say I have had a wonderful weekend in your beautiful city. The apartment was very comfortable and so convenient for transport to visit all the places of interest and there are so many to see.

We felt at home in this lovely apartment. The location is handy for shopping and subway travel. We enjoyed cooking and found all the tools necessary in your kitchen. The Tibetan restaurant on the street behind was very good and the staff very friendly. We are glad your apartment was available and we will tell our friends about your website.

We've been comfortable and enjoyed our stay at your lovely apartment. At the suggestion of prior visitors, we dined at the Clown Bar and had a wonderful meal, the hosts were charming. Our favorite outings during our visit were to see the fountains at Versailles. For future visitors they are only on Sundays 11-12 am and 3-4 pm, and are worth the trip. We also enjoyed a trip to Vaux le Vicompte and a visit to the Cluny Museum and the Unicorn Tapestries. Thanks to Sabine for all her help, we had a wonderful visit.

Our trip to Paris was wonderful and your apartment is perfect. We got from the airport to the front door via RTR and Metro. No problems. Sabine thought we were crazy to make such a short trip but it was exactly what we wanted. We took our friends to a few of the must-see sites but mostly we walked and ate. We left around 10am and returned between midnight and 2a each day tired and happy. We particularly loved the big market between Bastille and Republique.

I hope we can return with our kids and more time.

David Davis from Seattle here, and my family and I have rented the apartment from Gregory and Ann twice over the last 3 summers, most recently last August.

It is charming and functional and exactly as advertised, only better. The location is fabulous for all of Paris, particularly if you like to walk. If not, the metro entrance is no more than 20 paces outside the front door.

Of a morning, when you open the balcony to see what is what in Paris that day, you will smell the freshly baked croissants from the boulangerie across the street.

It is a marvelous place, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Paris.

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 7 fantastic weeks during July-August. We have been to Paris 3 times previously, always in hotels. We will always return to this apartment!. Fantastic location and the apartment was better than our expectations. It is very well appointed, spacious and is in excellent condition. Sabine, the lady who looks after the guests is truly wonderful and the people in the building very friendly( and we don't speak French!) I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to you. I am sure you would not be disappointed. I feel very envious of your planned holiday.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was convenient, quiet and very comfortable. We felt very much at home-just like family.

We had a fabulous week in Paris! The location of the apartment is wonderful, we rode the metro everywhere and walked a ton too. You didn't tell us the weather would be perfect this week!

The apartment has been very accomodating for us (two adult parents and two adult siblings age 19 and 23). The apartment has allowed us to come and go as needed, and provided all amenities required. We very much appreciate the convenience and accomodation. Sabine was especially helpful

We've had a lovely time in Paris so thank you for the opportunity! Your apartment is charming and full of that French character which one simply has to experience when coming to Paris. The best way to describe it is: quite "Amelie" if you've seen the film. Location is just perfect, we walked everywhere and yet didn't feel too close to the tourist crowds. And the owner of the cafe next door is kindness itself.

Our stay here was exceptional, walked everyday, caught the metro and saw as much as we could in 6 days. Reading the comments book in the apartment of other's adventures certainly helped us map out each day's adventures.

My wife and I have spent a month here. The apartment is wonderful, spacious, comfortable and well located. The market is on the rue Bretagne. There are lots of shops there: wine, cheese, butchers, bakeries, chocolate shops, flowers etc.. They have an open air market down an alley with fresh fish, fruits and vegetables, plus all kinds of prepared foods like Moroccan, Chinese etc...

Sabine is a wonderful help, but everything worked in the apartment so we didn't need much.

We have stayed in Paris a few times now, but this is definitely the best place we have stayed. Beautiful apartment, spacious rooms, good location and absolutely unbeatable convenience. A metro stop right at the front door and others, if a different line is more convenient, two minutes walk away.

Hello! We really enjoyed the apartment. We stayed for two weeks. Echo the same comments others have made – the metro is great, the clown restaurant is great, etc. The apartment is very nicely located, convenient to most all of Paris.

Absolute perfect apartment. My first trip to Europe and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to start. The Marais neighborhood is fascinating and perfect for strolling and shopping.

Our stay in Paris was enhanced by the use of your apartment. Once we learned the metro, we traversed the city and enjoyed the sites, sounds and tastes of this beautiful city. We look forward to returning again someday.

What a great location and apartment. We had a great time here renting for 6 days. We walked so much I got blisters on both feet. Paris is such fun, great food, sights, and pleasures. We also loved the clown bar and had a few nice breakfasts in the living room. Great to be able to wash clothes as well, although it does take a while. We got to know the metro quite well, and and probably tell you how to get anywhere from our metro.

We have loved every moment of our 3 weeks here. The apartment is a gem. We found the location perfect and the neighborhood so very convenient. Your apartment is well appointed and most comfortable. Sabine has been wonderful. Neighborhood restaurant recommendations: The clown bar, L Diuyna, 10 bd du Temple and M. Pramil 9 rue du Vertbois (01-42-72-72-03-60)

We had the most lovely 3 weeks. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. WE just loved it and hope to return next year. Do try the Clown Bar on rue Amelot, just outside the bedroom window. Great food, lovely people.

What a beautiful time in Paris! The apartment was bright and cheerful- plus we bought tulips every week at the street market which is two blocks away- a definite ‘must’ on Tuesdays and Friday mornings. The café next door is so convenient, and ‘Momo’ the owner is more than helpful and friendly. Of course the apartment offers every convenience – metro, ATM, shops of all kind- and Sabine was wonderful!! She is there if a problem should occur. I loved my 5 and a half weeks in Paris. We have had a really nice stay in this lovely apartment! We have had lots of fun times at our favourite, local bar (Pop In) around the corner, just down the street. We also recommend not cooking, but just buying frozen TV dinners in Picard on the other side of the street. Here you can get everything you ever dreamed of!

Although we were here for only 3 days, we have enjoyed the apartment and Paris greatly. The patisserie on Blvd Voltaire next to a kosher diner is great. Take a right out of the apartment then 1^st right, go to the main intersection (blvd Voltaire) take a right and its about 3 doors down on the right. The creperie la Bigoudere (62 rue Montparnasse) is delicious as well as L’Epi Dupin (11 rue Dupin, 6ieme tel 01-4222-6456) for a special dinner.

Easy Metro access to all the great sights-climb the Arch de Triumph at night. Thanks for all the guidebooks. Au revoir, and well be back

Thanks for renting your apartment to us. We had almost two months here and it has been wonderful. Our French is picking up just as we are about to leave. The two kids, wife and I have grown accustomed to the French way. Paris is close to other countries. We even got to Belgium from here. We got to know the bar around the corner at the rue de Crussol "Entree des Aristide" and further along about two intersections near Blvd Richard Lenoire there is an open market every Tuesday and Friday, I think it closes at 2 pm. Lots of fresh vegies, fruit, fish and clothes etc...the neighbors here are friendly and the apartment is comfortable. Everything here is like home. Thanks also to Sabine who has communicated with us when we needed her. Looking forward to another visit, and thanks for extending our stay

We had the most wonderful and romantic Paris holiday in this apartment. Special (if expensive) treat pre-dinner cocktails at the Morano club (opposite side of the road 1 minute walk, 5 building up on the right, has white walls on the front). Rue de Bretagne has a fabulous food market and is only 5 minutes away. Clown bar behind is fun and reasonably priced. We hope you have as fantastic time as we did.

We had a great time and your location was great for getting around on METRO. Sabine was great and extremely helpful. Your unit is in good hands with her.

Had bad abscess under my tooth last 2 days. Found dentist over road and down a bit. Very good. Gave me script for painkillers and antibiotics. Refused payment for services.

Will recommend any friends of mine going over to use your unit.

We had a wonderful time and, luckily, the weather was great for sightseeing (not too hot and occasional showers that did nothing to detract from our enjoyment). The apartment was delightful and very well located for getting around. The bakery across the street was great for our morning croissants and having the metro right outside the door couldn't have been more convenient.

We enjoyed our stay in Paris. Your apt is very conveniently located. Metro station, ATM right outside the apt entrance. Sabine was very helpful. We visited the local bakery directly across the street each morning. We walked to the Shopi store and Patisserie every couple days. It was a good location in which we could walk to many areas to explore or take the Metro. It was very nice to have a small kitchen to prepare light meals, and wash our clothes.
